The Mountain Core Jacket is a lightweight insulated jacket that combines innovative PrimaLoft® Active insulation with a wind-resistant, stretchy Flexile nylon shell for warmth and breathability, keeping you comfortable even during active activities.
PrimaLoft® Active is a fabric made of synthetic plumes (feather-like fibers) knitted into a mesh, providing the warmth of fleece at less than half the weight of conventional fleece. It retains heat even when wet and dries, and its excellent moisture wicking and quick-drying properties keep you dry and comfortable. Approximately 65% of the 125g/m² PrimaLoft® Active used is made from recycled materials.
The stretchy Flexile nylon shell provides a perfect balance of wind resistance, water resistance, and breathability for changeable mountain conditions. The brushed-lined hood protects your head from chilly winds. Layer it with a shell jacket for extra warmth and protection in bad weather.

Breathable insulation
Primaloft® ACTIVE EVOLVE insulation fabric has PrimaLoft® fibers woven into a mesh for a high-density, open loft. This creates air pockets within the fabric, preventing the wearer's body heat from escaping. The Core series' fiber structure excels at trapping these air pockets. However, because it's an open loft, even a slight breeze can eliminate the air pockets, allowing for rapid heat release.
Stays warm even when wet
