HIKER TRASH ZEN SOCKS "HIKE & RUN" HT30005 Color: WHITE / GRAY

The HIKER TRASH socks have holes at the top for a carabiner. This was inspired by the way long-distance hikers would poke holes in their wet socks with a knife and hang them on their tents or backpacks to dry. Dry socks always make hikers happy!
Made with machine-washable merino wool, merino wool has excellent heat retention and moisture absorption/release properties, protecting the body from cold sweat and the elements. Its natural antibacterial properties also help prevent the growth of odor-causing bacteria, making it a comfortable material that doesn't easily become smelly.

Long distance hiking, where you'll be walking all day, requires durable socks.
The socks are made with merino wool and knitted together with nylon and polyester, making them extremely durable.
In abrasion tests to measure the durability of socks, ZEN SOCKS "HIKE & RUN" recorded a record of approximately 5,500 wears on the toes, heels, and soles of the feet.
*Generally, the pass mark for casual socks is approximately 500 to 1,000 times, and for sports socks it is 2,500 to 3,000 times.

In 2017, SKETCH (RYOSUKE KAWATO) field-tested a prototype of the HIKER TRASH while hiking the 5,000km Continental Divide Trail, the most difficult of the three major trails in the United States. Any damage that occurred along the way was reported to the team members in Japan, and the resulting product was improved and sent back to the United States. The HIKER TRASH series was born from this repeated process, and it offers the true toughness that hikers require.
