[Multi-fabric]
The main material is tough 1000-denier nylon, with its heathered nylon texture and unique colorway paying homage to the classic heavy-duty products of the 1980s. This durable material is resistant to abrasion on rocky terrain, such as the granite often found in Japan's mountains, and can withstand skis attached to the sides in winter. The front panel and harness sections, which are subject to frequent friction due to contact with ice axes and crampons in winter, are made with relatively durable Spectra Grid 210D. The bottom and roll-top sections, which are subject to frequent abrasion and water exposure, are made with lightweight, strong, and highly waterproof X-PAC. This multi-fabric selection was reached by selecting materials based on the right material for the right job, rather than solely pursuing production efficiency.

[Daisy Chain]
RawLow Mountain Works backpacks feature a distinctive daisy chain. This is an iconic feature that pays homage to the great climbers of the past, but it also reflects our desire for the user to expand and use the backpack in various ways based on their imagination. Rather than simply focusing on weight reduction, we proactively retain parts that we believe are necessary, such as gear loops and axe holders.

[Inner pad]
For the invisible parts, such as the back pad and the inner pads of the shoulder harness, we repeatedly tested and selected materials that we were satisfied with for the comfort of carrying. At first, they may feel a little stiff, but they are designed to fit your body better with use and reduce fatigue on long hikes. Our goal was to create a backpack that you wouldn't even notice its weight. The balance between the harness design and attachment position, and compatibility with the inner pads, can dramatically change the comfort of carrying a backpack. We believe that no matter how light we manage to make the base weight, it would be counterproductive if this balance were to be lost. We also paid particular attention to the beautiful appearance of the shoulder harnesses when the backpack is taken off.
