The SUMMIT EVO is a classic mountaineering axe, perfect for any mountain situation. Its hydroformed shaft provides a lightweight and comfortable grip. The curved shaft is ideal for technical climbing: the curved upper shaft allows for easy access to steep ice. The heat-treated steel head ensures a secure grip on the snow: the high-grip shaft can also be fitted with the optional TRIGREST attachment, making it suitable for use as an ice axe.

  • The serrated picks, tapered to 3mm at the tip, provide a firm grip on hard snow and ice.
  • The middle part of the pick is thicker, making it suitable for soft snow.
  • Teeth located at the top of the pick ensure a firm grip on slopes when descending
  • Durable stainless steel tips ensure good shaft penetration when walking on snow

  • A sharp, high-strength adze that is easy to hold and easy to use for step cutting.
  • The angled adze shape allows the shaft to be inserted straight when walking.
  • The pick has a hole for attaching a carabiner clip or sling.
  • The high-quality aluminum shaft (made from 7075 aluminum alloy, also used in aircraft) is anodized for excellent corrosion resistance.
