The new Generator Alpine Jacket is built for mountaineering and harsh winter weather and is one of the warmest, lightest and most packable belay jackets available.

Designed for mountaineering, winter climbing, and all other cold-weather adventures, this insulated and weather-resistant jacket thrives when the elements get tough. After decades of toiling in bone-chilling conditions, we know that synthetic insulation provides unparalleled warmth, even in wet conditions.
That's why we've strategically body-mapped two weights of PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation with Cross Core™ technology throughout this jacket to deliver maximum warmth where you need it most. PrimaLoft® fibers are infused with aerogel, an ultra-low density material composed of 95% air that was originally designed to insulate the space shuttle. We've paired this highly effective insulation with a durable, abrasion-resistant, and weather-resistant outer layer of Pertex® Quantum Pro Diamond Fuse fabric. This fabric is made with diamond-shaped filaments, creating a flat surface that won't snag.

The Generator Alpine Jacket provides unparalleled protection from severe storms in the ruggedest terrain. This jacket features a two-way front zipper with an oversized puller, an adjustable, helmet-compatible hood with a stiff peak, oversized cuffs that accommodate heavy-duty winter gloves, an internal stuff pocket for concealed gloves, and tactically positioned, harness-friendly hand pockets. The jacket has articulated sleeves for full range of motion and a drawcord hem for an adjustable fit.
