The S/LAB ULTRA is the result of a collaboration between ultrarunner François d'Haene and Salomon. It's the first shoe to push the boundaries of performance and maintain that performance even after a 10-15 hour race. The combination of foam and plate delivers an unprecedented sensation, pushing the boundaries of ultra running.
Cushioning
The unique midsole construction incorporates two layers of ultra-soft Energy Foam to provide consistent cushioning over a wide range of challenging and changeable trail conditions.
Absorbs shock well
The Profeel plate integrated into the midsole acts as a filter between the sole of your foot and the ground, providing effective protection during demanding long runs in mountainous terrain.
Breathable
The Matryx® upper is lightweight, quick-drying, and reinforced with Kevlar® for excellent abrasion resistance.
