This fully waterproof snow shell jacket offers all the functionality you need for the mountains. When our design team developed the Rollercoaster series, they aimed to elevate the comfort and feel of a hard shell. To achieve complete freedom of movement, we had to overturn the fundamental principles of clothing construction. To achieve this, we employed Houdini's proprietary "Made to Move" cutting method, which places a single piece of fabric directly over the moving body, allowing the cut to adapt to the natural movement of the wearer. Lightweight, durable, and highly breathable, the Loop Hardshell™ is a waterproof, windproof, yet stretchy 3-layer fabric, eliminating the stiffness typically associated with hard shells and providing a supple, soft feel. It's also made from 70% recycled polyester, which can be recycled after use, and features a water-repellent treatment that's free of PFAS and other harmful chemicals. All of this fabric is made with sustainable materials and clean technology, making this a circular product that combines performance with environmental friendliness. The jacket also features two large hand pockets, one chest pocket, a helmet-compatible hood that can be adjusted with one hand, and diagonal ventilation zippers under the arms for ventilation without interfering with backpack straps. The interior features one pocket and a snow skirt to keep snow out, all seams are protected with seam tape, and all zippers on the openings are water-resistant. These features ensure optimal performance for all snow-covered mountain activities, from the slopes to ski touring and winter mountaineering, and even freeriding and backcountry tours for adrenaline-fueled powder. The jacket features a versatile regular fit for a variety of activities.
