This year's updated BCA probe features large depth markings for easy depth reading during rescues and snow monitoring, and the professional aluminum model is laser engraved to prevent wear.

BCA's stealth quick-lock hardware folds up into a smaller package and prevents the cable from coming loose and hitting the probe in your face while you're working hard.
The probe has snow depth highlighted in orange: 1.5m (for rough probing), 2.5m (for precise probing), and deeper to warn you when you're approaching the snow bottom.

The BCA probes disassemble into a tight bundle, with tapered joints allowing for rapid reassembly.

The depth ruler comes in two sizes: one with 5cm increments (for distress searches) and the other with 1cm increments (for assessing snow depth).
