A new cup has been added to the "Mountain Utsuwa" series.
The curve of the rim represents the mountain ridge. Drink from your usual spot, or occasionally from a different spot, depending on your mood. The design of the rim embodies the joy of finding your favorite mountain.
The material used is Japanese zelkova, which is cut vertically. The advantage of vertical cutting is that it is less likely to warp.
In addition, as a decorative and highly functional feature, the inner scale measures 1 cup of rice (approximately 180 ml) at the bottom, the water needed to cook 1 cup of rice (approximately 215 ml) in the middle, and the water needed to cook 1 cup of unwashed rice (approximately 235 ml) at the top.
By attaching the leather sleeve (sold separately), it can also be used as a cup with a handle.
