The RERA has been released, specializing in backcountry skiing for both men and women, and is suitable for smaller and slimmer riders. The RERA 35 EVO is a further update of the first model.
The lightweight design is achieved through the use of 100% recycled polyester ECOPAK fabric. While maintaining a firm grip, this bag was developed with the goal of providing the necessary equipment for skiing and climbing, while also maintaining stamina. Like the first model, the back panel features three independent pads. The uniquely designed back pad is designed to stabilize the sides of the bag, centering on the spine. This prevents the bag from becoming spherical, which can easily occur when the bag is loaded heavily. The 3DS shoulder straps and 3DET frame, designed for smaller sized individuals, reduce the weight of the load and reduce interference with movement while skiing. The CS waist harness is soft enough to not restrict movement, yet provides a snug fit around the pelvis, preventing lateral movement.
Avalanche gear is stored in separate compartments on the sides for quick access even while wearing a snowboard or snowshoes, and metal items are kept out of the way. Ice axes can be stored at the bottom of the pack. Storing stickers allows for easy switching between climbing and skiing. The rear access point allows for quick access to the cargo area, even in bad weather. The large goggle pocket comfortably fits two pairs of goggles, with an additional pocket inside. Store keys and other important items in this pocket. Pockets are located on both sides for storing water bottles, slings, and other items. A chain tape is attached above the pocket, allowing for hooks to be attached to prevent items from falling.
The main buckle is a Nifco winter buckle that is easy to remove even with gloves on and is designed to prevent snow from getting in. The shoulder and waist harness areas are prone to damage, so instead of winter buckles, we used Nifco buckles that are structurally stronger.
We recommend carrying a tent for emergencies. If you have one, you can open the zipper at the bottom of the pack where you put your ice axe and stickers, and attach the tent to the tape at the back to prevent it from flying away when you need to protect yourself from a strong wind.
