Thought and Creation
These minimalist gaiters are designed to prevent pebbles, leaves, and other debris from getting into your shoes while slinking. Made from breathable softshell material, they don't get stuffy like rain gaiters, and their short length makes them lightweight at just 53g per pair, while also providing stretch. The slim fit, inspired by tabi socks, reduces stress on footwork during long periods of slinking and helps ensure safety in rough terrain. The part that attaches to the shoelaces uses a toggle, making them easy to fasten securely.
Usability
A kunai that fits your feet eliminates stress on your feet when shinoing, and allows you to pass through rough areas safely as you can see your feet clearly. If the bottom fits tightly to your shoes, no foreign objects or snow will get in. If you use it correctly, you will be able to experience this comfort.
Mastering
Except for when I'm snogging on a snowy field, I can get by with the kunai shorts, whether it's sunny or raining. Since I don't usually wear waterproof shoes, getting wet isn't a big deal, and as long as I maintain my water-repellent clothing properly, I can get by with the kunai shorts. The toggles at the front of the hem are threaded through the shoelaces and then pulled up to secure them. Then, by attaching bungee cord or strong thin cord to the loops on the left and right sides of the hem and securing them to the bottom of the shoe, the hem fits snugly to the shoe, preventing foreign objects from getting in and the hem from riding up. The hook-and-loop fastener on the underside of the heel also makes it easy to secure to some shoes. Pairing the kunai shorts with futae trousers, hakama skirts, or ameno skirts creates a beautiful, Ryo-esque silhouette.
