Inspired by the legendary D-2EXT "Dozer" excavator.
It features an innovative oval design with concave areas on each side, increasing strength without adding weight.
The expandable shaft has a "variable offset" space between the inner and outer walls to prevent ice buildup and ensure reliable shaft deployment.
The flat "stomp edge" on the top of the blade and heat-treated 6061 aluminum allow you to dig into the snow simply by putting your weight on it.
Auto-locking spring pins on the blade and shaft connections allow for faster, hands-free assembly.
All BCA extendable shovels are designed to meet the UIAA standards for avalanche rescue shovels.
