Coarse = Used for polishing the sliding surface, removing fuzz before waxing, cleaning, and other refreshing tasks. Fine = For removing wax residue and dirt after brushing, and for finishing after waxing.

失敗から生まれた発見

世界のトップスキーヤーから絶大な支持を得るGALLIUM WAX。
その発見は、あまりにも奇跡的でした。

1981年、スキー選手として国体等で活躍した製錬技術者が、ガリウムの試験分析の時に誤って卓上にこぼしてしまう。
慌てて拭くと、よく延びるし水も弾く。そしてツルツルした感触もあった。
「これはスキーのワックスに使えるのでは…」と直感。

7年の研究  開発を重ね、1988年に世界初となるガリウムを配合した「GALLIUM WAX」を誕生させたのです。

第一号の「リップスティックタイプ」を皮切りに、「パワーメタル」などガリウム含有のワックスを次々と製造、販売。
1998年の国際大会では、全日本距離チームにスキー専用ワックス「AXF」を提供し、2022年国際大会までの6回、冬季国際大会に技術協力しています。
