Thought and Creativity
This neck gaiter, shorter than a kubimaki, is designed to keep the neck warm and ward off the cold, as well as to wipe away sweat. It was an idea borrowed from PRIRET, a mountain shawl manufacturer. Featuring traditional Japanese patterns closely associated with Ryo, it is an essential item for adding an accent to Ryo's outfit. It has been meticulously crafted by artisans in and around Kiryu City, Gunma Prefecture, a city that has long flourished as a silk weaving center, and is even touted in the Jomo Karuta card game as "Kiryu is the weaving capital of Japan."
"Ease of use"
It's very gentle on the skin and doesn't stick to your skin even when you sweat. It provides just the right amount of warmth, which is important when using it for shino-ing, and it doesn't overheat like a regular neck gaiter, and it flutters gently in the breeze.
"Mastering it"
It's very breathable and quick-drying, so it can be used as a neck gaiter to prevent overheating, or as a towel or hand towel. You can also wear it as a headband when relaxing in a hammock.
"Features of the material"
The material, a mix of natural materials such as cotton, silk, and linen, is called "Futsuori" and has a breathable, gauze-like texture and is very soft. It is lightweight, sweat-absorbent, quick-drying, warm, and odor-resistant.
