The Crossover Dome is lightweight and quick to set up, and is used by many people for a variety of activities. However, I believe that the drawbacks and risks of a lightweight dome shelter can be compensated for with your own "mountain power," making it possible to act safely.
However, some of you may have experienced the heat trapped inside a single-wall shelter in the scorching heat of midsummer, or been bothered by mosquitoes and horseflies .
"KAYA" is a double-wall shelter with all panels made of mesh inner and rain fly, which greatly reduces and eliminates this problem.
Furthermore, the weight is just 760g, making it the lightest in its class for a W-wall pole sleeve type dome.
It can be used in streams in combination with a tarp, or combined with a rain fly for a comfortable overnight stay in midsummer. This versatile shelter will expand the enjoyment of bivouacs.

CROSSOVER DOME KAYA Function Description
Another way to crossover
Pole sleeve/insertion side shape
Pole sleeve closed end shape
Cross section of connected sleeve apex
Crossover Dome KAYA uses the United Pole Sleeve System, which has proven itself in the Espace Solo, Duo Ultimate and Crossover Dome.
The United Pole Sleeves are designed so that the poles are connected at the top of the sleeve where they cross, and one end of each pole sleeve is closed like a pouch, so you can easily set up the poles by simply inserting them from one side. After setting up the poles, you can adjust the tension of the tent using the adjuster on the hand.
The pole sleeve insertion port and the corner fixing socket insertion port are V-shaped, allowing for smooth insertion when handling the pole with your right hand.
Doorway shape and utility loop
The entrance opens wide with two zippers arranged in an inverted L shape, making it easy to get in and out. It also comes with a tassel as standard, making it easy to keep open.
A convenient hammock net (sold separately) can be attached to the upper part of the interior, where you can place small items such as headlamps.
There is also a loop at the top of the room where you can hang a lightweight LED lantern or something similar.
The ground sheet is bathtub-style, minimizing rainwater splashing up from the ground and entering the room.
Easy-to-attach rain fly
The rain fly can be set up quickly and easily by simply inserting the loops at the four corners into the pole ends of the inner tent and then fastening the center of the four sides with pegs. The entrance overhangs up to 33cm, allowing you to place shoes and other items.
