The Timp is a model that boasts comfortable cushioning and an excellent fit that makes it easy to wear all day without getting tired.
This update features a change to the Vibram® Megagrip outsole, providing reliable grip on trails from dry to wet, regardless of the weather.
It provides the adaptability and stability to navigate any terrain.

The weight has been reduced by more than 30g compared to the previous model, the Timp 4 (277g for the men's size 28.5cm), and while it still has a solid thickness of 29mm, it allows for more agile movement.

The midsole is equipped with ALTRA EGO™MAX, which absorbs the impact of landing with excellent impact absorption and converts it into rebound force, supporting comfortable running even for long periods of time. It is also highly durable and designed to withstand long-term use.

The shoe also features a Standard Footshape, which minimizes movement when landing and maximizes fit. The shoe maintains the ALTRA concept of preventing injury and supporting a natural running style, while retaining the foot shape that doesn't cramp the toes, zero drop construction, and flexible design.

The Timp 5 is a model that has been evolved to a higher level in terms of grip, lightness, cushioning, and fit. It is an ideal shoe for trail running and hiking, providing all-day comfort even on rough terrain.
