The wood pulp used comes from natural forests and sustainably managed plantations. All TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers are FSC® or PEFC™ certified, guaranteeing sustainable forest management, and carry the EU Ecolabel. The TENCEL™ Lyocell factory in Lenzig recycles process water and reuses all chemicals with a recovery rate of over 99%. Wood is a renewable resource, and the fabric, which does not mix natural and synthetic fibers, is fully biodegradable and compostable.
