Hot Weather Running Socks combine Drymax Original Fiber with PTFE Fiber to limit heat buildup caused by excessive friction.
PTFE fibers are used in the heel, forefoot and toe areas where heat is particularly likely to build up, while the rest of the shoe uses an open mesh stripe system to release heat and sweat vapor to keep your feet cool.

PTFE has the lowest coefficient of friction of any fiber, which helps to reduce friction between the skin and the socks.
