A lightweight, compressible, and warm, water-repellent insulated vest, the Dunfri range is a long-standing Houdini classic that embodies the brand's philosophy. The Dunfri Vest similarly combines clean, minimalist design with cutting-edge performance to create a true multi-tool for a wide range of environments and activities.

The Dunfri series, which means "down-free" in Swedish, does not contain any down. Houdini's decision to eliminate animal materials such as down and feathers and instead use synthetic insulation as filling is based not only on its functional benefits but also on animal welfare, as he believes that birds should not suffer for the sake of human comfort.

The Dunfri Vest is made from extremely lightweight and durable Spinner Ripstop™ fabric, and is insulated with Primaloft® Gold, a cutting-edge synthetic fibre. Primaloft® Gold offers the same warmth and lightness as down, but retains its insulating properties even when wet, making it ideal for inclement weather. The fabric is treated with a PFAS-free water-repellent finish, and both the fabric and insulation are made from 100% recycled polyester, which can be recycled after use, ensuring a circular product that combines comfort with environmental friendliness. The vest is also packable, storing neatly into its storage pocket for easy transport when on the go.

The Dunfri Vest is perfect for extended outdoor activities such as ski touring and mountaineering expeditions, but is also ideal for lifestyle activities such as cold weather camping trips and commuting.It can be worn on its own or as an insulating layer under or over an outer layer.
