AXESQUIN ELEMENTS Octa-lined cardigan

While it may look like a simple round-neck cardigan, it's actually a lightweight, fluffy active insulation that combines a highly breathable shell with a moderately warm lining. Made from the revolutionary polyester material Teijin Octa, it's roughly half the weight of polyester fibers of the same diameter. The fiber's central cavity and eight radially arranged protrusions on its surface not only quickly absorb and disperse sweat, but also trap dead air in the spaces created by its unique shape, providing effective heat insulation. It's effective as active insulation, providing moderate warmth while wicking away sweat on mountain passes in cold seasons, or as insulation to prevent chills during stops on ancient trails in warmer seasons. Simply slip it into a gap in your backpack for year-round use. The sleek round neckline allows for layering.
