This functional cap features a synthetic fill for lightweight warmth. It's designed based on the same concept as Houdini's classic Dunfri insulation. Dunfri, which means "down-free" in Swedish, is filled without any animal-derived materials like down or feathers. Instead, it's made with PrimaLoft® Black Eco, a 100% recycled polyester material that's lightweight, warm, and retains its warmth even when wet. This not only benefits from the functional benefits of synthetic insulation, but also stems from Houdini's commitment to animal welfare, which is why we don't use down. The outer fabric, Spinner Ripstop™, is also made from ultra-lightweight, durable 100% recycled polyester and treated with a PFAS-free water-repellent finish. The Dunfri Cap is made entirely from sustainable materials and can be recycled after use, making it a circular product that combines comfort and environmental friendliness.
